2019.05 Closing Down the Wild Card Library
Yes, 2019 has been a library of wild cards…a child with poor choices that caused a whirlwind of legal and financial troubles for her, empty nest then unexpected resident back again, roller coaster of addiction, job ups and downs, return to the mortgage industry, including getting re-licensed as a broker in a whirlwind. Then having a false alarm with the company I decided to go with and moving to what appeared to be a totally sweet opportunity. Death of a cousin at age 42 unexpectedly and then death of her mom, not unexpectedly that led to a memorial service over Christmas holidays, a herd of cousins on top of a herd of houseguests and general mayhem to finish off the year. There were other things, but these were the loudest jokers in the deck.
Then today, with the new year/decade only but hours away, after inquiring about my ability to do loans in Washington and California, I learned that after a state audit on my company, I may be unable to do business with this wonderful company in Oregon. So, here on the eve of the new year, I’m hoofing it (digitally) to find a new place to replace my license so that I can do some loans. Totally insane. Timing is good though. I spent today working on my announcement of my return to mortgage brokering and have not yet sent it out. Thankfully I branded myself and my website, telephone, cards, everything are all in order. I will just have to do some swapping out once I land someplace good.
Off to the new year we go. All I can say is that I will live in the reality that God is in charge and in His Goodness for which I am grateful each and every day.
May you be richly blessed in the new year,
Kiki
This has been my song the last few weeks. I became inspired by this video and joined a choir for the new year. Crazy how happy I feel about that!
