2020.09 Coronavirus: Are YOU Asking Questions Yet?

You have to dig for it, if you can manage to get beneath the surface of mainstream media and their blather and constant whining about everything that is wrong, there is some real news out there. I learned the other day that there is a radioactive forest fire burning in the Ukraine, but it had been going a week before it made it to the headlines. Digging today was satisfying though. Michigan residents are protesting the harsh treatment and enforcement of ridiculous isolation requirements among the virus shutdown. Should we really put up with authorities that we put in office taking away our freedom based on newsroom panic mongering?

Then there are all the people on social media that went around filming hospitals in New York and other places showing NO lines, empty parking lots, and general nothin’ doin’ in spite of massive media hype to think we are swirling the drain of a deadly pandemic. Yet, other social media shows hospital staff having time to do goofy videos and no real sign of work being done. So what is true? Is there any way to tell? Have we sent our entire world economy into a nose dive for no reason? Are the awful stories from Italy and Spain true? What made Germany special with their cases not bad and death toll very low comparatively. Are we even getting accurate data?

The virus is a puzzlement. I have maintained it was a Red Herring from the beginning and I think this is true. However, finding any real facts is nearly impossible since investigative reporting has gone out of fashion and tabloid scandal is in and apparently far more interesting to most people in our nation.

That said, here are three very well done reports, two are investigative and one is an interview. All three go together in an odd sort of way. It left me with more questions and I keep asking, but it answers many and they feel less tabloid and more grounded. Will they answer some of your questions as well?

That’s a lot. Does it make me a conspiracy theorist? But, are you now one as well? The bigger question is, by whose definition?
